“Where the devil are my slippers?” is, as some may know, a quote said by Professor Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady (1964). While i don’t think i’ve seen the film in many years and can hardly remember it, i found the line quite funny when i read it again later and decided to buy a domain with it.

If you want to know something about me i guess i’ll try to tell you, if you couldn’t care less just skip this paragraph. I am female; a lot of people call me bunny despite it not being my real name, there’s a story there but not an interesting one. I’d quite like to change my real name as i don’t much like it, but i wouldn’t change to bunny. I tell people i’m 5′4″ even though it’s probably closer to 5′3″ i don’t know why i do this, it just became habit, i’m actually about the same height as my friend who claims to be 5′4″ so either we both lie or my tapes wrong. I have brown hair and blue eyes and hate long walks on the beach!
Most my day is spent on a computer, i sleep the rest of the time, if i go out it’s to shop, do some art work or for my health.
I have an A level in art and an AS in biology, for health reasons i couldn’t finish my biology A level or re-sit my maths and chemistry courses. Yes, i’m a geek. Right now i’m not working towards any qualifications, i do go to an art group most Fridays (if im awake) where i and people with similar illnesses to mine do arts and crafts which is fun. It took me a fair while to work up the courage to talk to the other people there but i’ve settled a bit now and get along well with the other people there.
Being at home a lot i get through a fair amount of TV watching, among my favourites right now are Firefly / Serenity, Family Guy and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, most comedy is good with me, i’m not a fan of gross out comedy, i’m more into the traditional punch line.
I live at home with my parents and older sister, and our dog, Megs. She’s a black Staffordshire, Labrador cross, also known as a Staffador, she’s a great dog, very friendly and loving, but also very lazy. She’s not fantastically trained, you have to be holding something she can eat before she’ll do something for you but i think that make her less of a pet and more part of the family. My sister is about 2 years older than me, she went to university and got a degree in philosophy, she is currently looking for work so she can save money to travel, she plans to drag me with her for at least some of it.

I finally got around to working out wordpress on 3rd March ‘07 (yes i know the date says 24th September ‘06, it took me a while), i made my first post and settled in. Unfortunately just a day after setting this up my pet hamster, Scratch, became very ill, i looked after her as best i could but 5 days later she died. I decided while she was ill that if i lost her, i would dedicate this blog to her, So this is a blog for my little Pork Scratchings.
